Today at App Of My Eye, we will be using TapCloud’s screenshots from the App store. Why? TapCloud by Qubop uses your IPhone camera for the background of its game and the palatial offices Ed, Art and I share are not appropriate for the World Wide Web. The gameplay is simple – you must tap clouds, planes and stars that float by onscreen. Timed levels and objectives require you to move your phone to find your targets. Soon, you start spinning around your apartment, waving your arms frantically like a hall spinner at a Grateful Dead show while you are trying to track the moving planes, falling stars or lazily floating multi-colored clouds. As levels get higher, objects move faster, causing you to shake and spin even more. When you can tap no more icons before the time runs out, TapCloud even tells you how many calories you’ve burned. This game is fun and could probably a great time waster to mollify your kids. Head over to the AppStore and pick this game up for a cool $0.99. Now, I’ve got to get going, all this spinning and swinging my arms has made me ill.
